Engaging the desire to earn

Starting the spending cycle is very easy. Were pushed me in day out by marketers and advertisers wherever we go in this country to slip back credit card right out of our pockets and plant down and had a lot more money than we even have. It's almost impossible, unless you live deep in the woods or on some boat to avoid all the marketing nonsense that has thrown our way.
But guess what, this spending cycle not only needs to stop, but it needs to also be supplemented with the learning cycle. Most people think the way to get out of debt is to simply remove some spending from their daily lives. Some other people think the wise thing to do is to put half of whatever is inside their home on some front lawn on some sunny Sunday afternoon and get away just about everything they've purchased over the last three or four years for cents on the dollar.
How many people really turn their lives around by selling their old guitar and a couple books they picked up over the last holiday season?
The fact is that this is not the way to advance your financial standing. There needs to be more that you do proactively to aggressively and decisively make the necessary changes to compete in responsible fashion against those who decide what houses and goods are priced at in your particular city or state. If you're wondering who these people are, look to your left and right. They are your neighbors, friends, and family. We hate to think that were competing against friends and family, but when it comes to the price of goods, etc., the fact is it is these very people who determine what it is we spend.
The fact is that there's no way to get out of this competition. And as it's healthy for the country and the economy to have a little competition. So this article is all about turning on the fire and getting aggressive in keeping up with the norm. And eventually, once you reach that median level of earning, you can look at your position and again consider what is the need to do to grow your way beyond the median and into the top 20 to 25%.
